Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Factory Systems Engineer to lead digital transformation on the manufacturing floor, focusing on CAD-driven software development, IIoT architecture, and data pipelines that connect shop floor sensors to cloud systems.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and Engineering teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement through analytics and modern tooling.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's Engineer Degree.
Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Experience with MES/SCADA/IoT in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops CAD software engineering methods, theories and research techniques for solving technical problems.
Plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software, considering architecture and hardware limitations.
Designs and implements CAD software engineering applications and specifications, and prepares design documentation and recommendations.
Develops routines and utility programs for manufacturing tasks and analytics.
Designs IIoT architectures for manufacturing, integrating sensors, PLCs, SCADA, and MES/ERP systems with secure data pipelines.
