Job summary

Raytheon’s Connected Factory Intelligence team seeks a Principal Digital Factory Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support advanced IIoT and digital factory solutions across multiple Raytheon manufacturing sites.

You will lead software development, ensure reliable data flows, and mentor engineers while collaborating with OT, IT, operations, and data teams to deliver real‑time factory insights and scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience building applications using Ignition (Perspective, scripting, gateway configuration).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain digital factory applications.
• Build operator interfaces, dashboards, backend workflows, data queries, and automated logic.
• Integrate applications with databases, historians, IIoT devices, and central data services.
• Document features, technical decisions, and system configurations.
