Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Design Automation Engineer to advance CAD software methods and support PLCs, vision systems, and robotics in a fast-paced medical technology environment.

The role entails designing, validating, and documenting automated systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to manufacturing process improvements within a patients-first culture. Shift is 6PM-6AM, on-site in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Engineering Bachelor's Degree.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Must meet minimum requirements stated on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD software engineering methods and project plans.
• Provide PLC, motion control, and vision system support.
• Validate and document testing protocols and qualification plans.
• Support SOPs, risk assessments, validation activities, and traceability.
• Participate in technical meetings and project timelines.
