Job summary

Mission Support & Test Services, LLC (MSTS) seeks a Senior Facility System Engineer for the Principal Underground Laboratory for Subcritical Experimentation (PULSE) at the Nevada National Security Site.

The role will initially support design, construction, turnover, and commissioning of two new testbeds at PULSE, then become the SME for systems such as cranes, chilled water/HVAC, refuge station, and fire protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ABET-accredited in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or calculus-based STEM degree.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of how codes/standards of other disciplines affect their discipline.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, turnover, and commissioning of two new PULSE testbeds.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for facility systems (cranes, HVAC, refuge station, fire protection, etc.).
• Develop and process Commercial Grade Dedications and understand safety requirements.
