Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Tampa is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Air Force facilities inspections, asset condition assessments, and capital investment planning at MacDill AFB. Qualifications

• Five (5) years of practical structural assets, interiors, and roofs operations and maintenance experience.
• Must possess applicable building code and life safety knowledge.
• Experience in performing facility assessments and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) condition assessments.
• Shall have at least three years of experience working in a military environment and familiarity with Air Force guidance, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations, maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs of government-owned assets and infrastructure.
• Manage the asset lifecycle portfolio for Air Force-owned infrastructure, including roads, bridges, parking lots, curbs and gutters, and related systems.
• Conduct facility and infrastructure condition assessments to identify deficiencies.
• Develop recommendations for corrective actions, preventive maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements with detailed cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate data in Government systems and support documentation with photos and reports.
• Review SOWs, RFPs, and project docs to ensure compliance with technical requirements and standards.
• Maintain organized records, inspection reports, and asset management files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
