Job summary

Overland AI is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to lead our new cleared security program at our South Seattle facility. You will administer the NISP, oversee all handling of classified materials, and guide compliance with DOD procedures.

You will liaise with government and contractors, manage all security documentation, and head the Insider Threat Program as ITPSO. A BA/BS and a TS/SCI clearance are required, with extensive DoD security experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and six (6) or more years of professional classified security experience in a corporate or government environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Extensive experience with Department of Defense security processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate all security activities in accordance with company policies and federal regulations.
• Establish liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, and managers for compliance with regulations.
• Plan, develop, and manage security programs for classified and CUI documents and equipment.
• Develop, review, and implement DOD classified procedures.
• Manage all classified documentation and hardware entering/leaving the facility, including electronic transfers.
• Maintain SP P security plans and control access records; respond to alarms when needed.
• Lead Insider Threat Program as ITPSO and coordinate annual training and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through accreditation processes for new facility construction.
