Job summary

Trident Optical Precision Systems is seeking a Principal Facility Security Officer to administer DoD and security programs, ensuring compliance with regulations. The role manages secure rooms, access, and debriefings, and coordinates with government agencies. A active DoD Secret clearance is required.

The FSO will oversee audits, training, and classification handling, interface with executives, and travel as needed to support customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 7+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.
• COMSEC Certification and experience handling classified materials.
• Familiarity with NISPOM and government security programs.
• Ability to interface with executives and DoD officials.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers security programs for classified materials and equipment.
• Manages closed and restricted areas and regulatory compliance.
• Process personnel clearances via JPAS; coordinate visits with government customers.
• Prepare security audits and interface with DSS during audits.
• Oversee secure rooms buildout, travel support, and incident investigations.
• Maintain documents, records, and access control for restricted materials.
