Job summary

The State Public Works Division within the Nevada Department of Administration in Carson City seeks a licensed architect or engineer to lead statewide facility planning and early-stage capital improvement program development. You will assess agency needs, develop project concepts, and coordinate with consultants for planning studies.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a professional architect or engineer at appointment time.
• Three years of professional experience in facility planning or capital project development.
• Experience with planning studies, feasibility analyses, and budgeting for public buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide facility planning and long-range CIP development.
• Develop project scopes, preliminary budgets, and planning recommendations.
• Coordinate with A/E consultants and regulatory officials on planning studies.
