Job summary

N3B LLCC in New Mexico seeks an SR Manager, Facility Operations to lead daily operations, drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across CH-TRU facilities. The role requires directing engineering, maintenance, and ESH functions to achieve program objectives.

You will oversee staffing, training, and performance, emphasizing a strong safety culture and customer service to facility tenants. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' related experience with 5+ in management are expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced management and/or supervisory experience in nuclear waste operations.
• Advanced experience in operating a Category 2 Nuclear Facility.
• Strong client/customer focus and team leadership.
• Experience coordinating readiness activities.
• Knowledge of nuclear waste policy and procedure development.
• Familiarity with safety basis and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in strategic planning and milestone delivery.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Understanding of work hazards and safety practices.
• Experience in a quality-focused environment with attention to detail.
• Experience handling various wastes.
• Knowledge of related laws and environmental impacts.
• Ability to interpret waste inspection/characterization data.
• Experience maintaining records for waste.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and operational oversight for Facility Operations Center.
• Manage Facility Operations employees and footprint to support goals.
• Recruit, mentor, and train staff while promoting safety and quality.
• Coordinate with support organizations on nuclear facility issues.
• Ensure safe execution of day-to-day activities and compliance.
• Implement safety basis requirements and facility systems.
• Engage with DOE/DFNSB and others on waste disposition.
• Communicate strategic vision for nuclear facility operations.
• Operate in a complex environment with radiological controls.
