Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent facilities management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience.
• Proficient with Windows-based software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record in leading customer and stakeholder meetings.
• Ability to manage operations per technical and contractual requirements.
• Focus on building a customer-satisfaction culture and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on maintenance management for MEP, fire alarm, security, and building automation.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, cameras, access control systems.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or high-availability facilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA codes, regulations and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and people skills as primary client liaison.
• Attention to detail; prepare and deliver monthly operational and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and track operating budgets and forecasts.
• Delegate tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accountability across the team.
• Respond to off-hour calls and emergencies when necessary.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and trusted resource to staff and stakeholders.
• Comprehend contract terms and ensure alignment with obligations and policies.
• Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships, including contracts and cost control.
• Manage KPIs and data quality in the CMMS.
• Oversee documentation for extension requests and repair justifications.
• Review and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and long-term planning.
