Job summary

The Facility Maintenance Technician III role with Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) in Fort Worth, TX supports upkeep of water district facilities and grounds. You will lead maintenance projects, estimate labor and materials, and supervise crews to completion.

Responsibilities include data entry for work orders, coordinating with TRWD personnel, and after-hours emergency response. Strong leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in facility maintenance, remodeling, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Ability to read/building blueprints.
• Ability to estimate labor and material costs for projects.
• Experience leading projects from start to finish with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, remodeling, and general maintenance on TRWD buildings, structures, and grounds.
• Manage start-to-finish projects including planning, estimating, and leading crews.
• Enter data for work orders and timekeeping.
• Transport materials and equipment for maintenance projects.
• Support safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Coordinate with TRWD staff and may supervise others.
