Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of repair and maintenance engineering gained through relevant education and professional experience.
• Education in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience supporting maintenance, reliability, or engineering activities within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret and review mechanical and electrical specifications and evaluate equipment requirements.
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance engineering activities to improve equipment availability, reliability, and productivity.
• Review mechanical and electrical specifications to support maintenance strategies.
• Evaluate proposed equipment designs for reliability, maintainability, and availability of replacement parts.
• Partner with production teams to coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment requirements with production schedules.
• Support statutory safety inspections and help maintain safe, dependable operations.
• Participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Independently manage assigned engineering projects and processes while addressing difficult technical challenges.
• Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
