Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform repair and preventive maintenance on store electrical systems. The role requires NEC knowledge, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, replacing components, maintaining parts inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven electrical experience and satisfactory performance
• Knowledge of NEC code
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime
• Demonstrated mentoring and training experience
• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and audits.
• Repair electrical systems and provide consultation for complex repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Repair and replace electrical components.
• Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces.
• Provide input to management on maintenance best practices.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts.
