The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Facility Administrator to lead the administrative and operational side of a correctional facility. The role collaborates with regional and local management to meet client goals and ensure compliant, cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy enforcement, staff leadership, and coordinating with government and community partners to deliver safe and secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences or related field.
• Ten years of experience in a correctional or detention facility at a supervisory level.
• Working knowledge of program objectives, policies, correctional laws, and procedures.
• Strong leadership, sound judgment, and administrative ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead administration, security, and treatment programs for the facility.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client departments and representatives.
• Enforce policies and provide guidelines and procedures.
• Direct facility functions and delegate authority to staff.
• Oversee staff selection, development, and discipline.
• Ensure procedures and facilities are sufficient for inmates and staff.
• Respond to emergencies 24/7 and supervise facility operations.
