Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seeks a Sr Facilities Technician for Heber Valley Camp in Heber City, UT. The role works independently to maintain church properties, ensuring safe, reverent environments for worship, learning, and community activities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and sound systems; repairs to motors, doors, drywall, and finishes; and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years related experience or equivalent combination with facility maintenance.
• Ability to mentor and train others in technical functions.
• Maintain OSHA safety knowledge and comply with Church policies.
• Effective communication, reading, and writing skills; ability to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and sound systems.
• Repairs motors, pumps, cabinets, millwork, drywall, flooring, doors, and hardware.
• Installs and maintains HVAC components, plumbing, electrical, and sound systems.
• Performs interior/exterior finish work and minor carpentry tasks.
• Maintains safety compliance and documents hazards or accidents.
• Estimates/materials and manages inventory; coordinates with contractors and FM team.
• Operates fleet vehicle and participates in meetings/trainings as assigned.
