Job summary

ProBio, a GenScript subsidiary in the United States, seeks a Sr. Facilities Technician to ensure the reliability and safety of building systems across our campuses.

You will maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, operate BAS/BMS, and manage preventive maintenance in a data-center–intensive environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of hands-on MEP experience, relevant certifications, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years hands-on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell).
• MEP systems knowledge in commercial/industrial settings.
• EPA Universal HVAC certification or Journeyman/Master electrical certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of data center systems to ensure 100% Up-time.
• Monitor and adjust HVAC, BAS, chillers, electrical systems, and safety systems.
• Analyze system operations to diagnose problems and take corrective action.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace.
• Manage work orders, CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer-facing tickets.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Read blueprints and manuals to diagnose complex issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades.
