Job summary

Saracen Casino Resort is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain landscapes, sidewalks, and exterior grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness for guests and staff. This role involves operating mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment, with attention to regulatory and company policies.

You will also assist in interior and exterior maintenance, collaborate with teams, and support during variable hours across nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
• Ability to interact well with customers and coworkers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all landscapes, including trimming trees and other gardening work to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.
• Maintains exterior grounds, including painting of curbs, signs, etc., fixing signs and repairing fences to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.
• Removes snow and de-ices road and sidewalk surface to ensure safety and convenience of guests and employees.
• Repairs asphalt and concrete surfaces.
• Assists in repairs to sprinkler systems.
• Empties trash receptacles on exterior grounds.
• Assists in the general maintenance of the interior and exterior of the casino including repairing, altering or reconstructing equipment and facilities.
• Adheres to regulatory and company policies; maintains a professional work environment.
• Duties subject to change; hours determined by 24-hour schedule.
