Job summary

The Ohio State University University Hospital | Facilities Administration seeks a Senior Facilities Building Systems Technician to maintain and repair building systems across campus. Focus areas include HVAC, boilers, chillers, BAS, and utilities to ensure safe, comfortable operations.

Under general supervision, you will respond to emergencies, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and support customer service and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4+ years in building systems maintenance.
• Experience with large-scale HVAC systems (2+ years).
• EPA 608 Universal Certification must be obtained during probation.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card during probation.
• Valid Ohio driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Focus on HVAC, mechanical systems, utilities, and BAS (BAS/DDC).
• Respond to emergencies and support campus-wide facility operations.
