Job summary

Hopelink seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician III (Non-Profit) to perform journey-level building maintenance across Redmond, Bellevue, Shoreline and other East King County sites. The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong organization, and ability to use MS Office and work-order systems.

The job offers 40 hours weekly, an on-call rotation, and a $2,000 new-hire bonus with comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Able to function independently across plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and door locks.
• Must be highly organized and multi-task capable.
• Professional written and verbal customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; able to use a work order system.
• Experience working with a variety of buildings and maintenance issues.
• Project planning and coordination experience; ability to source materials.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and meet on-call rotation requirements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform journey-level maintenance and repairs across multiple Hopelink sites.
• Handle apartment turns and resolve maintenance needs between occupancies.
• Repair in occupied units and coordinate with outside contractors.
• Use a computerized work-order system to organize tasks and track progress.
• Purchase supplies within budget; transport tools and materials by company truck.
• Read blueprints and repair manuals; troubleshoot various situations.
• Respond to work requests from staff and document updates.
• Maintain positive relations with staff, volunteers, donors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call after hours rotation, usually 1 week per month.
