Scottsdale USD 48 Facilities and Building Services is seeking a Senior Facilities Services Technician in Scottsdale, AZ. The role covers maintenance, groundskeeping, and minor construction tasks across school buildings and grounds.

The incumbent will operate light equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with trades-level work. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant maintenance experience, with valid AZ driver’s license. Pay grade K; shift 11:00AM-7:30PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• Pesticide Applicator’s License and Freon Certification may be required.
• Knowledge of tools, safety practices, and maintenance methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain structures and equipment.
• Operate light equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare daily work orders and paperwork.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Support basic maintenance in classrooms, offices, and sport areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
