Scottsdale USD 48 District is seeking a Senior Facilities Services Technician - Tree Arborist to support building services in Scottsdale, AZ. Starting immediately, the position requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant maintenance experience, plus a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License; pesticide applicator or Freon certification may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, repairs, replaces, and maintains structures and equipment such as walls, fencing, bleachers, playground equipment, desks, flooring and shelves.
• Operates light equipment and performs standard preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Prepares paperwork related to daily assignments, including work orders.
• Moves equipment, furniture, and boxed items to new locations as directed.
• Participates in grounds maintenance and related tasks like tree work, grading fields, and sweeping parking lots.
• Assists in basic maintenance of classrooms, offices, sport courts and parking areas.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
