Job summary

Scottsdale USD 48 Facilities and Building Services seeks a Senior Facilities Services Technician - Preventive Maintenance for the 11:00am–7:30pm shift. You will maintain buildings, grounds, utilities and equipment, operating light machinery and preparing daily work orders.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience, plus a valid AZ driver’s license. Some positions may require pesticide applicator and Freon certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License; pesticide applicator’s license and freon certification may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, installs, repairs, maintains structures and equipment such as walls, fencing, playground equipment and other related items.
• Operates light equipment and performs standard preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and related items.
• Prepares paperwork related to daily assignments, including work orders.
• Moves equipment, furniture and boxed items to new locations as directed.
• Participates in grounds maintenance activities such as trimming trees, mowing, and cleaning parking areas.
• Assists in basic maintenance of classrooms, offices, sport courts, parking lots, and other areas.
