Job summary

Park Bank in Madison, WI seeks a Senior Facilities Technician to lead a small team in maintaining our facilities, including Park Bank Center and nine branches. You will oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, basic carpentry, and building systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

You will mentor junior technicians, manage vendors, and respond to emergencies as needed, with a Mon–Fri 7am–5pm schedule and on-call after hours. Minimum 5+ years’ experience and strong leadership required.

• Proven leadership skills and vendor management experience.
• Above average mechanical abilities and the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Reside within 20–25-minute travel time to the Park Bank Center.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Park Bank buildings, resolve issues raised by associates and perform routine maintenance.
• Perform carpentry work, electrical repairs and plumbing when needed.
• Organize and manage daily activities, assist junior technicians with troubleshooting and task execution, and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain HVAC systems including a boiler and chiller.
• Run network cable as needed, install and maintain cameras and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Drive company van from Park Bank Center to branches.
• Ensure all facilities operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Perform general repairs. Examples may include electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures

Park Bank is looking for an adaptable, action-oriented, hands on, communicative leader to be our next Senior Facilities Technician. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Senior Facilities Technician will work on a small team to maintain the bank’s facilities and grounds – including our Park Bank Center and our nine branches in Dane County. As the Senior Facilities Technician, you are responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the company’s facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. These include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling and other building systems. You have experience with facilities, maintenance, and/or manufacturing and can work independently. You are flexible, motivated, have a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic and enjoy working with a fun team and organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7am - 5pm with specific schedule to be discussed before hire. Able to assist in responding to emergencies evenings, weekends, and holidays
