Job summary

Park Bank in Madison, WI is looking for a dedicated Facilities Technician to help maintain our Center and nine branches in the Madison area. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will perform general maintenance, safety checks, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1.5 years of facilities maintenance experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Reside within 20–25 minute travel time to Park Bank Center.
• Minimum 1.5 years of facilities maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and perform general maintenance for Park Bank facilities.
• Work independently and in teams to ensure safe, clean, and functional buildings and grounds.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Coordinate with trades and vendors for scheduled and complex work.
• Lead after-hours matters as needed.
• Travel to branches as assigned and drive company van.

Park Bank is seeking a dedicated and hands‑on Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician will work on a small team to maintain the bank’s facilities and grounds – including our Park Bank Center and our nine branches in the Madison area. Schedule

Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm with flexibility to work 8am-5pm as requested. Able to assist in responding to emergencies evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Under supervision of the Facilities Manager and Team Lead, inspects, maintains and performs general maintenance for the bank’s facilities
• Works independently and in teams to ensure functionality, cleanliness, and safety of buildings, grounds, and equipment while using established standards of preventative maintenance
• Performing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry
• Coordinating with trades with the scheduled maintenance and more complex work with the HVAC, plumbing, Electrical vendors
• Performs general repair that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
• Troubleshooting & creative problem solving when addressing issues
• Lead person to any after‑hours matters as needed
• Work be performed in‑person, onsite, at a designated branch work location and will drive company van
• Ensure all facilities operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reside within 20–25-minute travel time to the Park Bank Center
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Knowledge of maintenance needs such as – HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry
• Experience in vendor management
• Above average mechanical abilities and the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools and specialized equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
