The role requires strong project evaluation, safety oversight, and the ability to work independently or with a team, while maintaining records and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years managerial/supervisory facilities management experience.
• Current electrical or HVAC license.
• EPA 608 Certification (or must obtain within 12 months).
• CJIS security training & background check biennial.
• NIMS IS-700 and ICS-100 within specified days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance of cooling/heating, chillers, and refrigeration; coordinate with contractors.
• Direct maintenance crew; assign tasks and assist troubleshooting.
• Evaluate projects; estimate materials and coordinate with departments.
• Respond to emergencies to protect city property.
• Work independently or with a team to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Complete and maintain scheduled maintenance checklists.
• Perform safety inspections and maintain evacuation plans and emergency supplies.
• Attend required training.
• Maintain records and prioritize preventive maintenance.
• Maintain electrical systems, PDUs, generators, breakers, MCCs, control circuits.
• Oversee contractors and coordinate maintenance and renovation services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Available for disaster recovery work.
