Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, construction science, or related architectural engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years in construction management, inspection, or supervision, preferably in educational facilities.
• Licenses or certifications (e.g., State issued, ICC, IAPMO, NFPA) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates system-wide inspection processes to ensure timely completion and adherence to protocols.
• Performs jobsite walkthrough inspections ensuring materials meet contract specs and standards.
• Maintains detailed project inspection documentation in electronic and hard-copy formats.
• Communicates with clients, coworkers, and project teams within project scope and values.
• Identifies discrepancies or conflicts within construction documents.
• Monitors safety and traffic control on sites and informs affected parties of potential interruptions.
• Develops relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and consulting teams.
• Monitors project closeout including warranties and operating manuals.
• Ensures timely closeout with warranties and completion verification.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
