Job summary

The Rosenblum Companies is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the people, systems, and strategies across our commercial and multifamily portfolio in Albany, NY. You will manage a team ofBuilding Engineers and collaborate with Property Management, Construction and Asset Management to improve performance and long-term value.

This hands-on role focuses on optimizing building systems, energy management, budgeting and preventative maintenance while delivering exceptional tenant

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of facilities management experience including hands-on building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical/electrical operations, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and vendors; ability to travel within Capital District.
• Valid driver’s license and proficient with common business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and hold accountable the Building Engineering team.
• Strategic owner of building systems and operational standards across the portfolio.
• Develop energy management and sustainability initiatives for the portfolio.
• Own repair and maintenance budgets and monitor monthly variances.
• Develop capital plans and oversee project execution from planning to completion.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and drive reliability.
• Provide hands-on training and coordinate with tenants and managers; act as backup as needed.
