Job summary

The Building People is hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead facility operations and maintenance services for a major federal office and warehouse complex in Fort Worth, Texas. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, BAS, and grounds, directing a team of supervisors and technicians to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance management, incl. project management or supervisory responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing building mechanical systems and maintenance operations in large-scale facilities (600,000+ sq ft preferred).
• Proven leadership with multi-trade teams; strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to pass background/security screening and obtain facility access credentials as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of authority for contract and operational matters with the customer.
• Direct and oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, BAS).
• Build and manage staffing plans, hiring, training, and supervising onsite staff.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialty trades as needed.
• Own the quality control program and maintain safety and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with the customer's facility management.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and codes; track activity using CMMS.
