Atco Rubber Products, Inc. seeks a Facility Specialist to oversee the Fort Worth campus comprising three buildings. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, coordinating with outside contractors to keep operations safe and compliant.
Responsibilities include budgeting support, vendor management, and driving continuous improvements across facilities and corporate offices, with after-hours responses as needed.

The Facility Specalist is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of the Fort Worth campus, including three separate buildings consisting of manufacturing facilities and corporate offices. This position manages all building systems, coordinates outside contractors, oversees preventative maintenance programs, and ensures the campus remains safe, functional, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage the maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Building structures, roofs, doors, windows, elevators, lighting systems, grounds and landscaping, parking lots and sidewalks, general building improvements, and renovations.
Manage security alarm systems, oversee security camera systems, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, and coordinate emergency facility repairs.
Schedule and coordinate sprinkler system inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs.
Maintain documentation required for regulatory compliance.
Provide maintenance and support for the corporate office including office furniture and workstation installations, desk and office reconfigurations, computer monitor mounts and office fixtures, office remodeling and improvement projects, and manage maintenance and testing of the backup generator serving the server room and other critical equipment.
Select, schedule, and coordinate contractors and service providers.
Monitor contractor performance and verify work completion.
Obtain quotations for maintenance projects and capital improvements.
Assist with facility maintenance budgets.
Recommend building improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and reliability.
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of facility management or commercial building maintenance experience.
Experience managing multiple facilities preferred.
Experience supervising contractors and vendors.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and general building systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
Frequently walk through multiple facilities.
Ability to climb ladders and access mechanical areas.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Respond to facility emergencies outside of normal business hours as needed.
This position supports manufacturing facilities and corporate offices across a three-building campus. The work environment includes office areas, production environments, rooftops, mechanical rooms, warehouses, and outdoor spaces. Occasional after-hours work may be required to respond to emergencies or oversee critical maintenance activities.
