Killam Development., Ltd is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and overall condition of all company properties in Laredo, TX. You will lead preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with vendors, and supervise a maintenance team to keep facilities safe, functional, and compliant.

The role requires strong budgeting, vendor management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on timely repairs and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Experience overseeing multiple properties or locations preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, bids, and facility projects.
• Strong budgeting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and general condition of all buildings, offices, facilities, grounds, and properties.
• Supervise maintenance technician team and manage their work schedule.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Coordinate with departments to minimize disruption to operations.
• Manage vendor performance, bids, contracts, and service agreements.
• Assist in annual facilities maintenance and repair budgeting and cost control.
• Review invoices and verify work completed before payment.
