Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager for a large, automated personal care products campus in Bedford Park, IL. This on-site role leads facility systems, infrastructure, and safety programs to support production lines producing shampoo, lotion, conditioner and related products.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing facilities leadership, hands-on experience with HVAC/boilers/electrical, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of maintenance certifications.
• 7+ years of plant/facilities management leadership in manufacturing.
• Hands-on with HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution; stationary engineer license preferred.
• Strong project budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility functions including HVAC, boilers, and building maintenance.
• Manage on-site contractors across multiple trades to meet standards and timelines.
• Oversee on-site wastewater treatment and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and oversee capital budgets, scopes, and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to codes, OSHA, and safety standards across the facility.
