Job summary

Walmart in Columbus, IN is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facilities and assets across the stores and support campuses. This role requires hands-on trades experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights and lift up to 75 lbs.

You’ll use a range of crafts including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment handling, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational/Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in these trades.
• 1 year experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or similar.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform ladder work.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts.
• Use work order system to manage and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate tools safely.
