Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Martinsville, IN to maintain and repair facilities and assets. The role requires multi-craft skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• 1 year of experience using intermediate-level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
