Walmart is hiring a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Yuma, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities across multiple crafts, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage, a sign-on bonus for select locations, a company vehicle and tools, and access to extensive training and benefits. Shifts may vary as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in trades or 7 years' experience in trades.
• 1 year's experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Can Move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts.
• Utilize work orders system to receive and document repairs for stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
