Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets across stores and regional sites. You will use plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling skills with hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, responding to emergencies, inspecting equipment, and completing safety training to operate tools safely. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State driver's license with clean MVR and ability to pass MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
• 1 year's experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Can lift up to 75 lbs.
• Move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
