Job summary

City of Mountlake Terrace is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance worker to diagnose, repair, and maintain City buildings and aquatic facilities. The role involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and coordination with vendors to keep systems running efficiently.

Qualified candidates have five years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid WA driver’s license. The position includes union benefits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of progressively responsible maintenance experience.
• Experience with aquatic or water treatment facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain building structures and equipment including aquatics facility.
• Repair and maintain pool, spa, sauna, and gym areas.
• Maintain facility plumbing, HVAC controls, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to trouble calls and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Support asset management and preventative maintenance programs.
