Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, seeks a Maintenance Technician I for our Facilities Department. The role performs scheduled preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and basic facility repairs under supervision to develop broad maintenance skills.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime and occasional travel between EAS locations. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with preferred experience in manufacturing or facilities, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or related maintenance/construction experience.
• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or facilities environment preferred.
• Exposure to fabrication machinery, robotic machinery, painting systems, welding, refrigeration/HVAC, electrical/control systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on assets, facility equipment, and building systems as assigned.
• Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware, and general building repairs.
• Assist Maintenance Technician II, III, and Lead with repairs, installations, and improvement projects.
• Respond to routine maintenance work orders and communicate status to leads or managers.
• Inspect equipment and facility conditions and report safety concerns or developing problems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely and maintain logs and documentation.
• Drive a company vehicle between EAS locations when assigned.
• Follow all EAS safety policies, lockout/tagout requirements, and maintain flexibility with duties.
