Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Senior Maintenance Tech to maintain, install, and repair equipment across the campus under the HMLC Manager. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration work, support EVS staff, and serve as Safety Representative.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in plumbing, electrical or refrigeration.
• Experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration Systems.

Responsibilities

• Assists appropriate personnel in responding to failures in sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Utilizes knowledge of medical gasses, plumbing and sanitary systems and safely isolate, repair and resolve to normal conditions.
• Assists the trades in responding to failures in building electrical distribution and special systems; identify distribution and safely isolate, repair, re-energize components.
• Assists the trades to respond to failures in the HVAC systems or refrigeration equipment; understands HVAC and refrigeration, makes adjustments via DDC controls.
• Performs small-scale repairs to walls or ceilings and routine building components; supports safe maintenance and installations.
• Performs preventative/corrective maintenance on assigned equipment with high quality workmanship.
