McKesson is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our 350,000-square-foot distribution center in Clear Lake, IA. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and automated distribution equipment to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, motors, drives, compressors, or material handling systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades on facility infrastructure, conveyors, automated material handling equipment, and warehouse automation systems to ensure operational uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues using technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Support and maintain critical facility systems, including motors, drives, compressors, power distribution equipment, printers, strappers, and PLC-controlled technologies.
• Partner with operations, IT teams, vendors, and contractors to complete maintenance projects, improve equipment reliability, and minimize disruptions to business operations.
• Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures while providing technical guidance, training, and support to maintenance team members.
