Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician for our large distribution center in Clear Lake, IA. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and automated equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

This hands-on role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills and a mentor mindset. The position is full-time, onsite, with a schedule of Sunday–Thursday, 5:30pm–2:00am.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, motors, drives, and compressors.
• Knowledge of OSHA and LOTO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades on facility infrastructure and automation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Support motors, drives, compressors, and PLC-controlled technologies.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, vendors, and contractors on maintenance projects.
• Promote safety by following OSHA and LOTO procedures and mentoring team.
