Job summary

McKesson in the United States is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our distribution center facilities and automation equipment.

The role performs routine inspections, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility support to help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment while coordinating with operations and facility teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, or basic repair work.
• Ability to safely use common hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills, including experience using email, work order systems, or maintenance tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility and equipment inspections to identify maintenance issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Respond to facility service requests and complete general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, lighting replacements, spill response, and workspace adjustments.
• Support the operation and functionality of automation systems and associated equipment by identifying and escalating maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and inventory documentation.
• Assist with facility projects, inventory management, and emergency response activities while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Education
