Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance Department at our facility, ensuring all equipment and the plant are kept in excellent repair while upholding safety standards. Reporting to the General Manager, you will identify problems, manage spare parts, supervise contractors, and perform preventative and demand maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires five years of maintenance experience with supervisory experience, strong reading

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase power and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Maintenance Department to keep the facility and equipment in excellent repair.
• Identify problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Maintain spare parts and tool inventories to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that employees and outside contractors follow safety procedures.
• Perform preventative and demand maintenance as required.
• Assist Plant and Engineering with equipment installation and upgrades.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Supervision given: Supervises the work of others and/or the function.
