Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Indiana facility in Columbia City. You will lead the Maintenance Department to keep the facility and equipment in excellent repair and oversee the safety program.

Qualified candidates bring at least five years in maintenance with two years in a supervisory role, fluent English, and strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of maintenance experience with two years in a supervisory role.
• Fluent English communication and ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Maintenance Department to keep facility and equipment in excellent repair.
• Identify problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Maintain spare parts and tool inventories to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by employees and contractors on site.
• Perform preventative and demand maintenance as required.
• Assist Plant and Engineering with equipment installations and upgrades.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
