Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Senior Facilities & Maintenance Manager in South Plainfield, NJ. The role oversees facility operations and leads the maintenance organization within a high-tech manufacturing environment, driving reliability and asset management.

You will manage building systems, CAPEX/OPEX budgets, and capital projects while partnering with engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and leadership to ensure long-term capital planning and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities, maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing ops.
• Experience leading maintenance teams, facilities, contractors, or similar groups.
• Strong understanding of industrial facility systems and manufacturing-support infra.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and equipment priorities.
• Hands-on CMMS usage with work orders, asset structures, and reporting.
• Experience with CAPEX/OPEX budgets and capital projects.
• Ability to cross-function with engineering, ops, procurement, finance, and leadership.
• Excellent project-management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the facility's condition, reliability, and operational readiness, including building systems and infrastructure.
• Lead and develop the maintenance organization, technicians, contractors, and vendors.
• Strengthen preventive maintenance and move toward proactive maintenance.
• Structure asset management, work orders, documentation, and equipment priorities.
• Manage CMMS reporting to visibility of equipment performance and activities.
• Plan and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets and long-term capital planning.
• Lead capital equipment projects from installation to commissioning and expansion.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and leadership on initiatives.
• Stay hands-on with technicians and vendors to resolve issues.
