Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required and a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of professional technical experience in a relevant skill area.
• Demonstrated leadership history and broad knowledge of building components and systems.
• Exceptional people skills and ability to supervise and coordinate external contractors.
• Comfort with reading blueprints and using maintenance software and MS Office tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and lead general maintenance including carpentry, repairs, and renovations.
• Ensure timely inspections of building components for quality control.
• Document progress using Maintenance Management System and MS Office.
• Provide leadership and coordinate staffing, training, and performance feedback.
• Procure and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Meet with campus departments to assess needs and coordinate services.
• Supervise outside contractors and assist with project consultations.
• Rotating on-call emergency coverage on weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
