The Salvation Army Kansas City Citadel seeks a senior, hands-on maintenance professional to lead daily upkeep of campus facilities. Under the direction of the Business Administrator, you will coordinate maintenance staff, manage work orders, perform repairs, and ensure equipment, grounds, and systems stay safe, functional, and inspection-ready.

This role requires strong technical knowledge across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to read schedules

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in building trades preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of progressively responsible building maintenance; 5 years lead-worker preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: None.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily maintenance work and supervise staff under Director of Administration.
• Maintain and review work orders, preventive maintenance, records, and inspections.
• Provide hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate on-site activities of approved contractors and service technicians.
• Respond to after-hours facility emergencies and report performance concerns.
