Job summary

Total Quality Logistics is seeking an Associate Director of Facilities to lead day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upgrades for owned and leased office facilities nationwide, supervising 15+ staff and ensuring safe, reliable workplaces for 9,000+ employees.

You will manage building systems (HVAC, data centers, electrical, plumbing and critical power), coordinate contractors, implement preventive maintenance, and drive projects from planning through completion while staying compliant with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of facilities management experience.
• 5+ years leading facilities/maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, data center, electrical, plumbing, critical power).
• Experience managing contractors and vendors.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 15+ through coaching, training and performance management.
• Oversee daily building operations, maintenance and repairs including HVAC, data center, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, lighting and critical power systems.
• Set daily and weekly work priorities, assign responsibilities and ensure maintenance requests are completed on time.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and inspection schedules.
• Oversee facility repairs, renovations, equipment replacements and improvement projects from planning through final inspection.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors and service providers, reviewing proposals and ensuring quality, cost and completion.
• Monitor building conditions and system performance; identify recurring issues and implement lasting repairs.
• Ensure facilities meet building codes, safety requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and service for critical power systems and data center infrastructure with internal teams and outside providers.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
