Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for our South Plainfield, NJ site. You will lead facilities strategy, oversee lab and office operations, and manage vendor relationships while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• 10–12+ years of progressive facilities management experience in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building infrastructure.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety requirements; related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site facilities strategy and day-to-day operations for lab and office spaces.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance with QA/EHS and leadership.
• Oversee hard and soft services, maintenance, and emergency response to minimize disruption.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital projects with vendors and contractors.
• Develop SOPs, preventive maintenance, and service standards; drive continuous improvement.
