Job summary

JLL seeks a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee a multi-property portfolio in Riverwoods, IL, including a 1.4M sq ft campus and a Class A office complex in Chicago. You will lead operations, manage budgets, and coordinate vendors and staff to exceed client expectations and elevate the associate experience.

The role requires 8–10 years in Integrated Facilities Management, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience leading Integrated Facilities Management teams and services.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with proven team management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data for budget management and reporting.
• Experience with compensation planning processes and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of facilities services for the portfolio in line with policies and contract scope.
• Develop and manage facility budgets and track variances against targets.
• Lead the facility management team and operational programs for the client portfolio.
• Manage service contracts cost effectively and ensure quality of service delivery.
• Be the primary client liaison across properties and ensure vendor performance.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across operations.
• Oversee capital projects and small construction initiatives.
• Collaborate with other teams (fitness, food services, janitorial, landscaping).
• Deliver required reports and meet KPIs and client expectations.
• Lead to enhance the associate experience.
