Base pay range
$22.00/hr - $27.00/hr
Position Summary
The position works collaboratively with Facilities colleagues and the Facilities Director to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain equipment and facilities while delivering exceptional customer service to staff and members. The role involves handling heavier or larger equipment, interacting with members, staff, and contractors, and may require occasional nights and weekends, scheduled in advance with flexible hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixture replacements.
- Respond promptly to work tickets, prioritize issues, and complete tasks independently.
- Support seasonal camp preparations and winterizing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including emergency repairs.
- Maintain safety protocols, logs, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping, snow removal, and outdoor structures.
- Support event setups and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Conduct vehicle fleet maintenance and inspections.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Preferred experience with indoor/outdoor pools.
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in indoor/outdoor conditions year-round.
- Willingness to learn technology applications.
Certifications/Training
- Child Abuse Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, Sexual Assault & Harassment Prevention, CPR, and Certified Pool Operator.
